CALD community workers can play a part in helping raise awareness of hepatitis B

Join us for a free and interactive workshop about hepatitis B, how it affects our communities and what we can do to address this health issue.

Come and meet the local Liver Clinic staff from St George Hospital, and access the free hepatitis B resources available for community members.

Around 77,000 people in NSW are living with hepatitis B infection. An estimated 10,000 people in Eastern and South Eastern Sydney are living with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). The majority were born overseas and about half of them don’t know they have it. Untreated, hepatitis B can cause liver damage and liver cancer.
