Clinical supervision
Q: I have regular supervision meetings with our Clinical Supervisors. How can I find out if I have a supervision group today?
A: The group supervision meetings are recorded in the Co-worker diary section of our website. However, individual supervision meetings are organised individually with the co-worker and are not recorded in the diary section of the website. Therefore, individual Co-workers need to contact the clinical supervisor or the office to find out if they have an individual supervision.
Q: Do I have to attend clinical supervision meetings?
A: Attendance at clinical supervision meetings is compulsory. However, if you have a valid reason for not attending, please let your clinical supervisor know in advance.
Going overseas?
Q: I’m going overseas for a few weeks. Do I need to inform MHAHS?
A: Yes. Co-workers often travel overseas for various reasons. If you are going away, please let our Co-worker Liaison Officer know the dates you won’t be available to work for us.

Opal Card claims
Q: How do I get reimbursement for travel expenses incurred via Opal Card?
A: To claim for work-related travel expenses incurred via Opal Card, co-workers need to:
- Print the statement from their Opal Card account (showing name and travel details)
- Attach the statement with the petty cash voucher and get approval from the manager
- Go to the petty cash office for reimbursement. There is still a limit of $50.00 per voucher.
Computer access
Q: I need access to a computer to prepare a cultural presentation for MHAHS. Can you help?
A: There are computers available at MHAHS for such work related purposes. While you don’t need to register to use them, to ensure there is a computer available, please call the MHAHS in advance.
MHAHS website
Q: I’ve noticed some typos on our website in my language. How can I correct them?
A: The MHAHS website is a work in progress. If you find some typos or areas that need improvement, please let the Education and Media Officer know about them.
Using personal mobile phones for work purposes
Q: Would I get reimbursed if I use my personal mobile phone for work purposes?
A: The use of co-workers mobile phones to contact a client will only be reimbursed if telephone contact has been approved as appropriate to the case management plan and lasts longer than 15 minutes.
Mobile phone reimbursements can be claimed via Petty Cash and will need to have the original phone bill attached.
